Anhui USTC EGIBIO Biotechnology Co., Ltd is a high-tech enterprise co-established by the School of Life Science of USTC, the General Industrial Company of USTC, and the local investor from Fuyang. Since its inception on Mar 20th, 2003, the total investment tips 58 million RMB Yuan. The producing and research center locate in the Economic and Technical Development Zone of Fuyang, while the communication center locates in the National Collegial Technology Garden of Hefei High-tech Development Zone. EGIBIO is mainly engaged in the production and sales of enzymes, the research and exploiture of genetic engineering pharmacy.

Among the current 21 staff of EGIBIO, 16 of them are medium or senior technical personnels and 18 with bachelor or higher degrees. Our annual production capacity is: 200 tons gene-recombined GI, 10 thousand tons Glucoamylase (50 thousand units). The production capacity of GI can meet the demand of domestic market; Glucoamylase can fulfill the requirement of Anhui province market. At the time of full production capacity, the annual output is 85 million RMB Yuan, realizing pre-tax revenue of 25 million RMB Yuan.
